Care Assistant

We require a carer for our new client in Leigh on Sea, Essex. Our client requires daily weekday visits with a view to increasing the frequency of visits in the near future. You will be helping to get the client up in the morning, supporting with personal care and meal preparation.

Role Requirements:

· Providing personal care

· Providing companionship and supportive listening

· Ability to treat people with dignity and respect

· Be honest, patient and have a genuine desire to improve the lives of those in our care

· Observing and reporting any changes in the health or status of the patient

· Preparing meals

· Complying with all CQC regulations

· Working in accordance with Wilson’s Care policies and values

· Must be available to work alternate weekends

About you:

· 1 year Care experience (preferred but not essential)

· Be reliable, caring and have excellent attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Hold a clean UK licence with access to your own vehicle (preferred but not essential)

· An enhanced DBS check will be required
