Home Instead Southend, are a Home care service in and around Southend and we provide a range of care and support services for older people in our community.

We are passionate about changing the way home care is delivered to older people by focusing on high-quality person-centred care. Our aim is to support our clients to stay in their own homes for longer and to maintain independence and dignity.

 

Job Description

The most important part of a CAREGiving role with us is offering companionship-based care and support including helping someone out of bed, having a wash or putting on their socks. Each of our CAREGivers are matched to a client based on mutual interests and hobbies to encourage a strong relationship that is able to develop.

PERSONAL CARE - HOME HELP - COMPANIONSHIP

Our CAREGiver's are between 18 and 70+ years old. The role has the flexibility to fit around your existing commitments - Grandchildren, clubs, hobbies, full time jobs etc Local work - No long commutes!

Availability must include alternate weekends.

Full driving license and access to your own vehicle is necessary, while our clients are cared for in their own home, they may also need support with shopping and appointments.

 

Qualifications


We believe you do not need experience or qualifications to become a CAREGiver, we will give you all the tools you need to help you do the job. All we ask is that you have a big heart and want to make a difference to the lives of our clients.
