My name is Sophie. I am 26 years of age and I have Down’s Syndrome and Diabetes. The position is to support both myself and my aunt who also has Down’s Syndrome. You will therefore need to be a car owner/driver.

I need a personal assistant/ companion to assist me in all areas of personal, domestic and social need, both at home and in the community.

Through personal assistance, I am enabled to lead an individual and independent lifestyle in my own home and outside.

The personal assistant must be reliable and able to work flexible hours and must respect my privacy; understanding the need for confidentiality in all areas of work.

The personal assistant will work under my direction, is accountable to me and should always ask what my needs are, listening and acting upon my requests.

Must have full license with an car and permission to work in UK.
