Are you looking for an exciting opportunity as a newly qualified paediatric nurse? The role will begin with a 12 month rotation between our A & E department and Neptune Children’s Ward with 6 months in each area or there is an opportunity to choose a static position where you will work solely on Neptune ward (Can be discussed in interview).
Neptune Children’s Ward has 20 beds and caters for children aged 0-16 requiring medical, surgical and day-stay admission. There is also a designated Paediatric Assessment Unit consisting of a 6 bedded area, an isolation cubicle and treatment room. Neptune Unit uses the Partnership Model to deliver holistic nursing care.
The Role: Our dynamic, caring and highly-motivated team is looking for candidates who can communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and relatives as well as other colleagues. Excellent organisation skills and an ability to prioritise a busy workload are also essential.
All posts will be subject to a probationary period.
